And for the less literal-fuck-minded and more theoretical-fuck-minded, here’s a re-post of Satyr’s new blog concerning an issue I care a lot about. I think it’s a great post and an ideal way to go about HIV testing and pairing of models, sans discrimination AND sans infection.

We DO NOT exclude HIV positive models from our film shoots.  We match up HIV positive models with other HIV positive models.  So far we have not had one HIV negative model convert over to HIV positive status.  We test through AIM (Adult Industry Medical) with the PCR-DNA test which is 99.99% accurate to within the last 10 days.  It tests for the virus not just the antibodies.  This means that the test is looking for the virus not the body’s reaction to the virus.  We agree with you that Bareback Sex is the hottest sex between two men but in order to be as responsible within those parameters we test every model.  If they turn out to be HIV positive we will pair them up with another HIV positive model.  We explain the risks to them and they are free to work with us if they so choose.We agree with you that there are really hot men who are HIV positive and we have filmed many scenes with them.  We cannot disclose which scenes those are due to medical privacy laws.  But, we want our viewers to know that we do not put our models at extreme risk because they are all aware of each other’s HIV status.What amazes us is that the big gay studios for the most part, do not test anyone.  They use the excuse that since they use condoms they have a don’t ask, don’t tell policy.
